To Be A Wild Rose

Hi everyone,

The Magic Technique is something that I have wanted to try for sometime.  Well recently I watched several YouTube videos but I found the following one was most useful.  Sandi MacIver seem to be the easiest to comprehend.

I made two each of the cards above.  Yes, I can see that they are not perfect.  That’s okay.

I used Highland Heather, Crumb Cake and Poppy Parade Card Stock. I also use the Craft Stampin Pad with Whisper White Ink white  Highland Heather, Poppy Parade and Old Olive Stampin Up Ink Pad for the colours.

All of the products using the first card can be purchased from Stampin Up. If you live in Australia and you would like to place an order over $250-00 (before shipping) you will receive 10% in Stampin Up Rewards.  Click here to place your order.

If you would like to place a smaller order please email me on leanne1982@netspace.net.au.

If you would like the current brochure, please email me on leanne1982@netspace.net.au.

Blessings

To be a Wild Rose

Hi everyone,

Isn’t this a beautiful card.

Mint Macaroon and Highland Heather look stunning together.  To be a Wild Rose Stamp Set with a little white, purple ribbon and a short sentiment creates a beautiful stunning card.

This was available for one pf my recent card classes.  I usually make six cards so that the attendees have a choice. I am not sure if it is a good thing or bad yet.   I like to give attendees a choice though.  Anyway this one was not been chosen.   After the Saturday class, my friend stayed for tea.   We created the four that was cut up for class. Libby took hers home.  I kept the rest.

I think anyone would love to receive this card.

Enjoy your day,

Blessings.

Floating Card

Hi everyone,

I have been very slack lately.  Life has been busy.  I also have been lacking in my creativity. I was able to find some of that creativity today.

Well the latest craze within the card making world seems to be these floating cards or Press N Seal Technique.  Well I have succumbed to this craze and joined the band wagon.  Admittedly I have been thinking about them for several weeks.  It took some time for me to find the Press N Seal product.  I eventually joined Costco so that I could purchase some and other items.

I opened a new stamp set that had not been used.  However it has already been retired.  Whilst I intended to use the 2018-2020 colours, at the last minute I chose to use the new 2019-2021 colours.  I prefer bright colours, but I am really happy with the selection that I finally used.

I watched Bruno Bertucci’s video on Floating Cards or the Press N Seal technique..

I created the cards below, using the new 2019-2021 colours - Rococo Rose, Terracotta Tile, Pretty Peacock and Seaside Spray.  I also used So Saffron.  I used Bloom to Bloom Stamp Set and the sentiments came from To Be A Wild Rose.  I placed them on Rococo Rose and Seaside Spray Cardstock.

These products can be purchased from Stampin Up. If you would
like to place an order over $250-00 (before shipping) you will
receive 10% in Stampin Up Rewards.  Click here to place your order.

I hope you like these cards too.
