Corner Flip Card

Hi everyone,

I have been busy this weekend.  My sewing machine has been at the doctors over the last few weeks.  I have been making lots of cards, but usually using retired stamps and designer series paper. So the first cards I made I used Gingham Gala, a retired designer series paper, (DSP).  I usually make the card to use all the different colours or sheets in the designer series pack, hence 5 cards each using the Gingham Gala DSP

Tonight I skyped my mum in Adelaide and I made four cards using Hand Penned DSP which can be found in the Annual Catalogue page 104-106 ©2022 Stampin' Up!®  Also you will find the Hand Penned Petals Bundle consisting of Hand Penned Petals Stamp Set and Penned Flower Dies.  While we shared our with one another, some of the conversation is showing cards, and saying to Mum ‘What do you think of this?’  So tonight, while we were on skype, Mum helped me to make the top four cards.  I think they look pretty good.

Have you used Stampin Up products before. One of the reasons that I became a demonstrator/hobbyist was because I love the colour combos.  Stampin Up provides cardstock, ribbon, stamp pad, and matching designer series paper and sometimes matching glitz to enhance the cards.  If you are a bit pedantic with colour combinations Stampin Up is your friend. They certainly have my vote.

The current Annual Catalogue is available on this blog.  If you would like a Catalogue posted to you, it will cost $9-00.  That can be deducted from the next order.

If you live in Australia and you would like to place an order over $250-00 (before shipping) you will receive 10% in Stampin Up Rewards.  Click here to place your order.

If you would like to place a smaller order please email me on leanne1982@netspace.net.au.

If you would like the current brochure, please email me on leanne1982@netspace.net.au.

If you like this blog, and like learning a little about our family traditions or our lives while I inform you about the makings of the cards or quilts that I make, can you indicate by following me, (on the right hand side). Blogging is something new and I am still trying to get a handle on it.

Friendly Hello

 Hi everyone,

Do you love a free stamp and/designer paper. Lets face it, I like anything free.  Sometimes that gets me into trouble.  Anyway, back to Stampin Up free items.

Sale-a-beation is continuing until 16th March.  You will find the brochure on my blog page, to the right.  If you purchase $180 worth of Stampin Up products the set below is yours. In the Sal-a-bration Catalogue ©2022 Stampin' Up!®  there are other stamps and designer series paper that are available for free if you purchase $90 worth of Stampin Up products.

Below are cards that I CASEd from cards on Pintrest.   These colours are so soft and calming, I think.  You will also see though out my blog other cards made from this set.  It is such a versatile set.

Friendly Hello

 Hi everyone,

Well, 2022 has arrived. Happy New Year to you all.  I hope your new year brings good health, lots of joy and many blessings.

As the new year begins so does Sale-a-bration. (If you would like a Sale-a-braiton Catalogue, email me and I will send you one.)  When you purchase $90 worth of items from Stampin Up, you receive a free stamp or Designer Series Paper.  If you purchase $180, you can receive a more expensive item or set.

I chose the Friendly Hello Stamp Set and Designer Series Paper, which can be found in the Sale-a-bration Catalogue page 12 ©2022 Stampin' Up!®  Below I have made the same card using different combination.  It is amazing how different they can look.

You will need a 5 3/8” x 3 5/8” piece of cardstock.  Since I was going to use this as a template, I wanted something a little thicker, so I used Whisper White Thick Cardstock.

From the top left corner, measure down 3/4”.

From the top right corner measure down 3 3/4” and make a pencil mark

From the bottom left corner measure over 2 1/2”  and make a pencil mark.

Draw a line (connect the pencil marks) from the 3/4” mark on the left side to the 3 3/4”  mark on the right side.

Draw a line (connect the pencil marks) from the 3/4” side on the left side to the 2 1/2” mark along the bottom of the card.

Cut on the lines.

Place flowers or sentiment in the top left hand corner.
