Attention Shoppers

 Hi everyone,

A simple card for some who like only a little stamping and colouring.  This card can used for more than just a birthday.  Any female loves to shop.  This card would boost someone’s spirits if they were in the doldrums.  It is always nice to receive a card, because someone is thinking of you when the card was sent.

Have you used Stampin Up products before. One of the reasons that I became a demonstrator/hobbyist was because I love the colour combos.  Stampin Up provides cardstock, ribbon, stamp pad, and matching designer series paper and sometimes matching glitz to enhance the cards.  If you are a bit pedantic with colour combinations Stampin Up is your friend. They certainly have my vote.

The current Annual Catalogue is available on this blog.

If you live in Australia and you would like to place an order over $250-00 (before shipping) you will

receive 10% in Stampin Up Rewards.  Or if you would like to place a smaller order please email me on leanne1982@netspace.net.au.

If you would like the current brochure, please email me on leanne1982@netspace.net.au.

If you like this blog, and like learning a little about our family traditions or our lives while I inform you about the makings of the cards or quilts that I make, can you indicate by following me, (on the right hand side).

Friendship Royalty

 Hi everyone,

Here is a card for your little girl or even someone older who loves lots of sparkle.

Our little princess loves her sparkle, princess dress ups, crowns, wands and even Barbies.  She loves dresses which twirl.

Friendship Royalty is a new stamp set in the Annual Catalogue ©2023 Stampin‘ Up!® on Page 56.  I embossed white glitter onto the pink cardstock.  Just a little glitz.

Carousel Horses

Hi everyone,

Did you grow up with Mary Poppins.  The movie, Mary Poppins, was made in 1965.  I looked up the date because I couldn’t remember if I saw it as a kid, or our kids.  Anyway it turns out that I would have watched it as a kid.  I love musicals.  I passed that on to our daughter, who also grew up watching Mary Poppins.  Now C has a daughter of her own.  Miss J is 5.  She also loves Mary Poppins.

Well, I brought Mary Poppins up because there is a partly animated scene where Bert, Mary Poppins and the two children, are riding through the countryside on carousel horses.  When I started playing with Meandering Meadows Designer Series Paper, and pulled out the Carousel Horses, which can be found in the Annual Catalogue ©2023 Stampin‘ Up!® on page 16, my mind automatically when to that scene in Mary Poppins.

I love these two cards. It is my favourite Z Fun fold again.  The instructions are

Cut cardstock at 4 1/4” x 11”.  Score at 5 1/2” and 8 1/4”.

Cut  cardstock 1 1/4” x 11”. Score at 5 1/2” and 8 1/4”.

Cut Designer Series Paper 2 1/2” x 3 7/8”, 5 1/4” x 3 7/8”, 2 1/2” x 1” and 5 1/4” x 1”

Cut White cardstock 5 1/4” x 1” and 2 1/2” x 1”.

Ballet Beauty

 Hi everyone,

Yes, I know that this card is a bit late.  Ballet Beauty is now retired. 🤔🤔🤔🤔.  It took me a while to play with it.  I couldn’t find any iinspiration  for this stamp set.  Once again I looked through Pintrest without much inspiration.  I just decided to make a card.

This is my first attempt.  Not terribly happy with it, but I needed to start somewhere.
