Corner Flip Card

Hi everyone,

I have been busy this weekend.  My sewing machine has been at the doctors over the last few weeks.  I have been making lots of cards, but usually using retired stamps and designer series paper. So the first cards I made I used Gingham Gala, a retired designer series paper, (DSP).  I usually make the card to use all the different colours or sheets in the designer series pack, hence 5 cards each using the Gingham Gala DSP

Tonight I skyped my mum in Adelaide and I made four cards using Hand Penned DSP which can be found in the Annual Catalogue page 104-106 ©2022 Stampin' Up!®  Also you will find the Hand Penned Petals Bundle consisting of Hand Penned Petals Stamp Set and Penned Flower Dies.  While we shared our with one another, some of the conversation is showing cards, and saying to Mum ‘What do you think of this?’  So tonight, while we were on skype, Mum helped me to make the top four cards.  I think they look pretty good.

Have you used Stampin Up products before. One of the reasons that I became a demonstrator/hobbyist was because I love the colour combos.  Stampin Up provides cardstock, ribbon, stamp pad, and matching designer series paper and sometimes matching glitz to enhance the cards.  If you are a bit pedantic with colour combinations Stampin Up is your friend. They certainly have my vote.

The current Annual Catalogue is available on this blog.  If you would like a Catalogue posted to you, it will cost $9-00.  That can be deducted from the next order.

If you live in Australia and you would like to place an order over $250-00 (before shipping) you will receive 10% in Stampin Up Rewards.  Click here to place your order.

If you would like to place a smaller order please email me on leanne1982@netspace.net.au.

If you like this blog, and like learning a little about our family traditions or our lives while I inform you about the makings of the cards or quilts that I make, can you indicate by following me, (on the right hand side). Blogging is something new and I am still trying to get a handle on it.

Butterfly Gala

Hi everyone,

The beautiful Buterfly Gala and Butterfly Duet Punch is my favourite set at the moment.   These items make such a lovely sweet card for birthday or a note to remind s9meone how special they are.

I created this card using Whisper White Cardstock and Gingham Gala Designer Series Paper.  Balmy Blue, Daffodil Delight and Grapefruit Grove were the stamp pads used.

Using all these items you can create your own spectacular cards that people will love to receive.

We currently have the Sale-A-Bration Promotion.  For every $90 you can choose a free stamp set, ribbon or designer series paper. Fantastic deal.

These products can be purchased from Stampin Up. If you would like to place an order over $250-00 (before shipping) you will receive 10% in Stampin Up Rewards.  Click here to place your order.

Today’s Class

Hi everyone,

Today Carren and Dianne attended my card class.  I taught them or guided them making 3 cards. Carren and Dianne taught me Auslan.   Dianne is deaf so we had some fun learning to communicate.

Butterfly Gala and the Butterfly  Punch, using Gingham Designer Series Paper, was the first card.  Dianne wanted one with ‘70’ on it.  Whilst I had the large Stampin Up Numbers Dies, I also had small numbers.  The small 70 was the best.

The second card was created using Lily Lake Stamp Set and Lakeside Framelits.  I had this set for some time but had not actually opened it until I made the sampler.  A great male card.  We had a little fun,  when stamping the ripples for the sea, we found space so I thought of sandbars. Whilst I had Marina Mist Cardstock, I did not have the stamp pad.  I brought out all the blue stamp pads.  Oh, the decisions.

Dianne required a baby card for a new baby that will arrive soon.  So instead of the ladies birthday card that I had prepared, we found a baby card on Pinterest.  Once again, Sweet Baby is another unopened stamp set and dies.

I certainly had fun today with a few laughs and lots of sign language  booboos.  I hope that Carren and Dianne did too.  I hope that they will both return next month.

If you would like to join us next month, I will have a class on Friday 1st March at 7:30pm and Saturday 2nd March, at 1:00pm.

Butterfly Gala

Hi everyone

I created this card using the beautiful Gingham Gala Designer Series Paper, the Butterfly Gala Set and Butterfly Duet Punch.  All of these are included in the new 2019 Occassions Catalogue.  If you purchased the Gingham Gala Cardstock Pack along with the paper, stamp set and punch, that will take you over $90:00 which entitles you to an item out of the Sale-A-Bration Catalogue for free. One of the items is a collection of ribbons in the same gingham story.

Using all these items you can create some spectacular cards that people will love to receive.

These products can be purchased from Stampin Up. If you would like to place an order over $250-00 (before shipping) you will receive 10% in Stampin Up Rewards.  Click here to place your order.
