Art with Heart Designer Series Paper Blog Hop

Tonight the Art with Heart team are sharing creative projects featuring designer series paper. This month, Stampin’ Up! have a special on designer series paper, buy 3, get 1 free! We hope our blog hop inspires you to get crafting with your designer series paper.

I had fun creating this time.  I made about 6 different cards playing with designer series paper.  Whilst I have chosen these two for the blog hop, the others will appear on my blog over the next couple of weeks.  Even though there is only a small different between the two, I could not choose, hence they are both here.

I used Very Vanilla, and Mossy Meadow cardstock with Petal Promenade Designer Series Paper.  I also used Springtime Impressions Thinlits and Layering Ovals Framelits.  Happy Birthday came from You're Inspiring and is stamped in Mossy Meadow ink.

I hope you enjoyed this card.

Art With Heart Blog Hop Cajun Craze

Hi Everyone,
It is Tuesday night and week 8 of Art With Heart Colour Creations.  This week we are featuring Cajun Craze, a lovely bright orange that will brighten your day here in a cold wintery day in Melbourne.

I have this one too!!!!

Well, this one is different.   When I saw the colour, I went to the filing cabinet where I have all the cardstock.  I didn’t have any. Oh well. It took me a couple of days to realize that I had the stamp pad. So I started thinking outside the square, so to speak.  I usually start with the cardstock and work from there. Whilst I am done this technique before, it is not something I do often.  However, I am really happy with the final creation.

I commenced with Whisper White Cardstock.  I used Mossy Meadow, Cajun Craze and Crushed Curry stamp pads. I also used Root in Nature Stamp Set and Nature’s Root Framelits.  I hope you like it.  I loved creating this card.

These products can be purchased from Stampin Up. If you would like to place an order over $250-00 (before shipping) you will receive 10% in Stampin Up Rewards.  Click here to place your order.

I used Beautiful Peacock Stamp Set on Pool Party and Black Cardstock. I used the Embossing Buddy, VersaMark, Copper Embossing Powder and the Heat Tool.   This is a techique that I have practiced and am trying to perfect. I tried this technique many years ago with a hairdryer, without success.  Stampin Up tools have certainly made this technique easier.

This is a fun card. Our son is a muscian.  I also like singing ‘Happy Birthday’ to our kids, grandkids and just everyone really.  I imagine that this type of card will be used often for his two sons and another on the way. I used Pacific Point, Daffodil Delight and Whisper White Cardstock, Party Panda Stamp Set and Pacific Point and Daffodil Delight Write Markers.

Hope you enjoy these card.

Art with Heart Team Blog

Tonight the Art with Heart team girls are sharing some creative projects by adding texture with embossing. Embossing can add a lovely dimension, and with our wonderful Stampin’ Up! products, we can create many different looks. These include Heat embossing using embossing powder, dry embossing using our textured folders or by adding embossing paste

I have been having fun during the last few weeks making Christmas cards.  So when I decided to take part in this Blog Hop, a Christmas card was the obvious choice.  However I wanted to stretch my skills.  I found inspiration from Pinterest and YouTube.  I am thrilled with my results.  Still need more  perfecting but a new skill
none the less.

This Christmas card was created using Night in Bethlehem Stamp
Set, Bethlehem Edgelits Dies, Crumb Cake, Early Expresso and Whisper White Cardstock.  I used Crumb Cake  and Early Expresso
Stamp Pads.  For the first time I used the Heat Tool, Stampin’ Up Embossing Powder, (Clear) and Embossing Buddy.  I had a great
time learning this new skill, and I am very pleased with my card.  I
hope you enjoy this card as much as I’ve enjoyed learning this new skill.
