Colour Creation Inst Hop Crumb Cake

Hi,

Our group of Stampin Up Demonstrators and Hobbyists, (Art of With Heart Team), are working through each colour currently available in the catalogues.  This week is No. 18, Crumb Cake

Well, I’ve had BBQ Master Bundle for sometime.  Crumb Cake seemed to be a good place to start with this bundle. As you can see, I used several different colours. Early Expresso, Daffodil Delight, Mint Macaroon, Poppy Parade and Misty Moonlight.

Aussies love their BBQ.  I also love a BBQ.  We shall see them starting to appear with the smell of a good old snag, in coming months as it continues to warm.

BBQ master Bundle is currently in the Last Chance products.

Have you used Stampin Up products before. One of the reasons that I became a demonstrator/hobbyist was because I love the colour combos.  Stampin Up provides cardstock, ribbon, stamp pad, and matching designer series paper and sometimes matching glitz to enhance the cards.  If you are a
bit pedantic with colour combinations Stampin Up is your friend. They certainly have my vote.

The current Annual Catalogue is available on this blog.

If you live in Australia and you would like to place an order you can receive 10% of on your next order.

If you would like the current brochure, please email me on leanne1982@netspace.net.au.

Colour Creations Insta Hop

 Hi,

Our group of Stampin Up Demonstrators and Hobbyists, (Art of With Heart Team), are working through each colour currently available in the catalogues.  This week is No. 17, Coastal Cabana.

I CASEd this card from Teri West, an Artisan, on Pinterest.  I found the colour combination on Pinterest as well.

I used a dies.  After looking through Stampin.com.au, it appears I chose a retired dies.  I love the Artisan Sketched Garden Pattern Paper.  It is such a versatile paper. I love the different pots and their plants or flowers.  When using this paper, you can make a card in minutes.  The sentiment is also retired.  I used Poppy Parade, Old Olive and Crushed Curry, quite different combination.

Colour Creation Insta Hop

Hi,

Our group of Stampin Up Demonstrators and Hobbyists, (Art of With Heart Team), are working through each colour currently available in the catalogues.  This week is No. 16, Cloud Cover.

Sometimes it is hard to find a place to start.  This card or colour, was one of those times. While making another card one night with Mum, I started playing with Velvet Meadow patterned paper and I found this paper with cloud cover in it, or I think it is there.  I usually buy a suite, so fortunately I also have the Flowering Meadow Bundle. A little bit of playing here and another there, we seem to work this card out. I also used Peaceful Pine in the stems and a strip to lift the sentiment.

Colour Creations Inst Hop Cherry Cobbler

Hi,

Our group of Stampin Up Demonstrators and Hobbyists, (Art of With Heart Team), are working through each colour currently available in the catalogues.  This week is No. 15, Cherry Cobbler.

I CASEd a card from the new September - December 2026 Catalogue on Page 33.  I can see myself CASEing the card often.  I also went to Pinterest for a different colour combination.  Basic Beige, Peaceful Pine and Cherry Cobbler was the chosen combination. I used the new Tile Garden Bundle, which appears in the above catalogue.

I kept looking at this card thinking about where a sentiment could go.  After some discussion with Mum I decided to leave it off the front and put something in the middle.

Colour Creation Inst Hop Calypso Coral

 Hi,

Our group of Stampin Up Demonstrators and Hobbyists, (Art of With Heart Team), are working through each colour currently available in the catalogues.  This week is No. 14, Calypso Coral.

I allowed Artisan Sketched Garden Patterned Paper to do all the talking in this card.  I embossed the Basic White Cardstock with a retired folder, Painted Texture.  The sentiment is also retired.  I have a container of sentiments, that are leftover strips.  Sometimes I just stamp them, other times I emboss them.  This is one of those sentiments. Just a little colour of Calypso Coral adds to this card. enjoy

Colour Creations Inst Hop Bubble Bath

Hi,

Our group of Stampin Up Demonstrators and Hobbyists, (Art of With Heart Team), are working through each colour currently available in the catalogues.  This week is No. 13, Bubble Bath.

I created this card using a retired dies, Impressions Abloom. I purchased this bundle purely for the oval border and cut out.   However, this dies set has become a favourite  because the flowers have a little bit of texture through them.

I also used my favourite embossing folder, Subtle, which creates a soft texture which enhances the card.

Colour Creations Inst Hop Blackberry Bliss

Hi,

Our group of Stampin Up Demonstrators and Hobbyists, (Art of With Heart Team), are working through each colour currently available in the catalogues.  This week is No. 11, Blackberry Bliss.

I slept on this colour several nights and came up with an idea.  My second card is the idea.  As usually happens I start with the idea and it progresses to something quite different.  Below are both of the cards. It seems that my favourite flower this week is Flowering Meadow Stamp Set.  A number of retired items were used for these cards.  Sometimes it is great to pull out the retired stamps and dies, blowing the cobwebs away.

Colour Creations Insta Hop Basic Gray

 Hi,

Our group of Stampin Up Demonstrators and Hobbyists, (Art of With Heart Team), are working through each colour currently available in the catalogues.  Basic Gray is this week’s colour.

Oh dear, what do I do with Basic Gray, has been my thought for week or so. This isn’t a colour that I use much.  However, after another night of not much sleep I came up with an idea similar to this.

I used the Beach Boardwalk Suite, a suite sitting there waiting to be used. Petunia Pop also helps to brighten the card.  Also the coliured seats on the ferris wheel also helped.

Do you love the Ferris Wheel?  I love it.  Our grandchildren love it too.  I’m usually the designated adult who accompanies the grandchildren to the heights.  Once again this suite brings back many holiday memories spent in Port Lincoln, SA and more recent rides with the kids.

Colour Creations Insta Hop Balmy Blue

Hi,

Our group of Stampin Up Demonstrators and Hobbyists, (Art of With Heart Team), are working through each colour currently available in the catalogues.  Balmy Blue is this week’s colour, an oldy but a goody.

I created this card using Lovely Arrangements Bundle.  Balmy Blue and Night of Navy goes well together.  Mum was at the end of Messenger while I tried several different combinations.  This one won.  I also used my all time favourite embossing folder, ‘Subtle’ but it is now retired.  This card looks pretty good, I hope you think so too.

Colour Creations Instagram Hop Azure Afternoon

 Hi,

Our group of Stampin Up Demonstrators and Hobbyists, (Art of With Heart Team), are working through each colour currently available in the catalogues.  Azure Afternoon is this week’s colour.  Isn’t it a beautiful blue?

I love this Ready Set Go Stamp Set.  Once again it evokes more memories of my past.

When I grew up we only had one tv.  Most of the time what we were watching depended on who had the controls.  My dad was an avid sport, racing car watcher.  Most weekends the tv was turned to any sport that was going.  If there was a car racing event, that was part of the mix.  These memories are fond ones now, maybe not so much at the time.

Anyway, back to the card.  I teamed the Azure Afternoon with Daffodil Delight. I also used Sunset Coast Dies and the retired embossing folder, Subtle.  A little bit of blending brushes and voila, a pretty good card for someone in my family

Colour Creation Insta Hop Peaceful Pine

Hi,

Our group of Stampin Up Demonstrators and Hobbyists, (Art of With Heart Team), are working through each colour currently available in the catalogues. Peaceful Pine, the last of our new In Colours, is this week’s colour.  It is such a soft dark green.

I just love these Everyday Arches Dies.  They can be used in many different ways. This example be,ow is probably using the most popular but still spectacular.  I also used Relaxing Waterside Dies, a sheet from April’s Paper Pumpkin.  Happy Birthday is a retired dies, Wanted to Say Dies

This scene resonates with me. I grew up about 8 klms from the beach.  I spent most weekends at the beach.    When we went away for holidays Dad always took the boat that he built.  First boat was a canoe, second was a cabin cruiser which just grew and grew.  Many, many hours were spent at the seaside.  Sitting in a chair with a book and cuppa beside the sea, with seagulls in the sky just does it for me.

Colour Creations Instagram Hop Hydrangea Hue

Hi,

Our group of Stampin Up Demonstrators and Hobbyists, (Art of With Heart Team), are working through each colour currently available in the catalogues. Hydrangea Hue, one of our new In Colours, is this week’s colour.  Isn’t it a beautiful colour?

This fun fold is a bit of a favourite.  I used the Eyelet Blooms Die, Mixed Floral Stamp Set and Scalloped Wishes Stamp Set.  The measurements are as follows:

Card stock - 8 1/4” x 5 1/2”, score at 3”, 6”, and 7”.

Designer Series Paper - 5 1/4” x 2 1/2” and 3/4” x 5 1/4”.

Card stock - 6” x 3”, score at 4 1/4”

White card stock - 4” x 2 3/4”.

Colour Creations Instagram Hop, Crisp Cantaloupe

Hi,

I am very sorry.  I lost my mojo for several months.  I had trouble creating cards let alone creating new ones.  Hopefully I am back.

Our group of Stampin Up Demonstrators and Hobbyists, (Art of With Heart Team), are working through each colour currently available in the catalogues. Crisp Cantaloupe, one of our new In Colours, is this week’s colour.

As I shared last year, any shade of orange is not a a colour that I use.  I spent one night unable to sleep, thinking about this card and the designated colour.  I also have a number of stamp sets that I have not used yet.  So my plan was to use one of these.

I used Delicate Whispers Stamp Set and Dies.  I also used Crisp Cantaloupe and Peaceful Pine stamp pads and Blends. I also embossed the Crisp Cantaloupe cardstock with a favourite but retiredembossing folder, Exposed Brick 3D.

Have you used Stampin Up products before. One of the reasons that I became a demonstrator/hobbyist was because I love the colour combos.  Stampin Up provides cardstock, ribbon, stamp pad, and matching designer series paper and sometimes matching glitz to enhance the cards.  If you are a bit pedantic with colour combinations Stampin Up is your friend. Colour Creations Instagram Hop - Golden Glow

Hi,

Our group of Stampin Up Demonstrators and Hobbyists, (Art of With Heart Team), are working through each colour currently available in the catalogues. Golden Glow, one of our new In Colours, is this week’s colour.

Isn’t this a lovely yellow.  It reminds me a little of So Saffron, only darker.  However it is a soft yellow.  Once again, during a sleepless night, I thought about the stamps that have not been used.  We also have several friend’s birthdays coming up, who are mad photographers.  I used the Capturing Smiles Stamp Set and dies. ‘Smile’ came from retired Capture the Good Stamp Set.

Colour Creations Week 20 Early Espresso

 Hi everyone,

A group of Stampin Up Demonstrators and Hobbyists created a group called Colours Creations.  Each week we work through the colours, alphabetically, for the year.  This week is Early Espresso.  This colour has been around for the entire time I have been part of Stampin Up.

I created these cards using Peaceful Pier Stamp Set found in the Annual Catalogue ©2025 Stampin‘ Up!® on page 96.

I bought the stamp because I love the little boy sitting on the chair fishing.  This brings back many memories of my brothers and I fishing together.  As children we grew up about 10 klms from the beach.  We were at the beach every sunny weekend.  We also spent our holidays at the beach, Port Lincoln, Kangaroo Island, once at West Beach, and another at Port Hughes.

Anyway, back to the stamp set.  I also love ‘Somebody knows……’ sentiment.

I started with the idea of water colouring the little boy etc. however I was not happy so started again.  However below is the completed water colouring attempt.

I am really happy with these last two.

I hope the recipients will have some fond memories to remember, when they receive these cards, during their time of struggle

Colour Creation Week 19 Daffodil Delight

Hi everyone,

A group of Stampin Up Demonstrators and Hobbyists created a group called Colours Creations.  Each week we work through the colours, alphabetically, for the year.  This week is Daffodil Delight.  This colour was an InColour several years ago.  Every 5 years or so, Stampin Up review their colours. During the last review, this colour was included in the regular colours.  It is such a cheerful colour, ready for spring.

My card is a fairly basic card.  I started off with Mixed Florals Stamp Set.  I wanted to colour the tulips in Daffodil Delight.  The rest fell into place a bit with Mum’s help.

Mum and I video chat every couple of nights. I usually make cards while talking to Mum. As I did with this card, I ask her, does this go with this, or that.  It was also the first time that I used Mixed Labels Stamp Set.
