Earthen Elegance Suite

 Hi everyone,

Number 3 of a number of cards using Eastern Elegant Suite. It can be found in the Annual Catalogue ©2023  Stampin‘ Up!® on page 70.  However commencing 9th April  to 30th April, some these products can be purchased at a reduced price.

Im not a fan of brown, brown and brown.  However blues are a different story.  I just love this card.

Have you used Stampin Up products before. One of the reasons that I became a demonstrator/hobbyist was because I love the colour combos.  Stampin Up provides cardstock, ribbon, stamp pad, and matching designer series paper and sometimes matching glitz to enhance the cards.  If you are a bit pedantic with colour combinations Stampin Up is your friend. They certainly have my vote.

The current Annual Catalogue is available on this blog.

If you live in Australia and you would like to place an order over $250-00 (before shipping) you will

receive 10% in Stampin Up Rewards.  Or if you would like to place a smaller order please email me on leanne1982@netspace.net.au.

If you would like the current brochure, please email me on leanne1982@netspace.net.au.

If you like this blog, and like learning a little about our family traditions or our lives while I inform you about the makings of the cards or quilts that I make, can you indicate by following me, (on the right hand side).

Turtle Friends

Hi everyone,

As I write this, we are in lockdown in Melbourne. Hopefully by the time this is published we will be out of lockdown and able to visit family and friends again.

This card is for Master E. Turtles seem to be his thing.  His oldest brother Master N loved frogs. Master T,  his middle brother, loved dinosaurs. While Master E loves his dinosaurs and trucks, he has special love for turtles. So I am also collecting fabrics for a turtle quilt. The other two boys have their frogs and dinasour quilts.

Turtle Friends can be found in the Annual Catalogue page 56 ©2021 Stampin' Up!®. It also has a punch.  If you buy them together, you can save 10%.

Fancy Fold

Hi everyone,

During a scroll through Pintrest while looking for ideas I found a card that is something different.   Something that says ‘Oooohhhhhh’ to me.  Then during a recent Saturday afternoon I Skyped Mum, while I had a play. Thanks to Susan at Wow Nola Creations for the idea.

Above is Susan’s card.

Below are my examples.  I tried to use current stamps, and designer series paper so that I could use one in a class.  However I discovered the punch has now retired. Blow.

I used Hydrangea Hill Designer Series Paper, Tasteful Touches Stamp Set, and To a Wild Rose Stamp Set
