Meandering Meadows

Hi everyone, 

Do you a like a quick card.  This card also shows both sides of the designer series paper.  

These cards are showcasing the Meandering Meadows Designer Series Paper.   It is a beautiful series of paper.  There are so many difference scenes.  The designer series paper is in our Online Store which can be found on our Stampin Up site.  

This card is very easy.

Create a card base.  (5 1/2” x 8 1/2”  (folded in half).

Cut 1 1/4” from the fold. 

Cut Designer Series Paper 3 7/8” x  5 1/4”.  Place the glue on the side of paper and slip the paper in underneath as shown. 

Ribbon, sentiments can be included.  11/2” front piece on card can be embossed.  There are so many possibilities.  From time to time, I stamp and cut sentiments which are placed in a container.  The sentiments that were used with these cards came from that container. 

Have you used Stampin Up products before. One of the reasons that I became a demonstrator/hobbyist was because I love the colour combos.  Stampin Up provides cardstock, ribbon, stamp pad, and matching designer series paper and sometimes matching glitz to enhance the cards.  If you are a bit pedantic with colour combinations Stampin Up is your friend. They certainly have my vote.

Carousel Horses

Hi everyone, 

Did you grow up with Mary Poppins.  The movie, Mary Poppins, was made in 1965.  I looked up the date because I couldn’t remember if I saw it as a kid, or our kids.  Anyway it turns out that I would have watched it as a kid.  I love musicals.  I passed that on to our daughter, who also grew up watching Mary Poppins.  Now C has a daughter of her own.  Miss J is 5.  She also loves Mary Poppins. 

Well, I brought Mary Poppins up because there is a partly animated scene where Bert, Mary Poppins and the two children, are riding through the countryside on carousel horses.  When I started playing with Meandering Meadows Designer Series Paper, and pulled out the Carousel Horses, which can be found in the Annual Catalogue ©2023 Stampin‘ Up!® on page 16, my mind automatically when to that scene in Mary Poppins.

I love these two cards. It is my favourite Z Fun fold again.  The instructions are

Cut cardstock at 4 1/4” x 11”.  Score at 5 1/2” and 8 1/4”.

Cut  cardstock 1 1/4” x 11”. Score at 5 1/2” and 8 1/4”.

Cut Designer Series Paper 2 1/2” x 3 7/8”, 5 1/4” x 3 7/8”, 2 1/2” x 1” and 5 1/4” x 1”

Cut White cardstock 5 1/4” x 1” and 2 1/2” x 1”.

Meandering Meadows Suite

Hi everyone, 

Here is another card using the Meandering Meadows Suite.  I just love the little wheelbarrow full of flowers.  There is also a fence amongst the dies.  The Meandering Meadows Designer Series Paper is wonderful paper that will make any card spectacular but easy. 

This Meandering Meadows Suite is not in the catalogue but can be found on the Stampin Up site, under Online Products.  The suite can be purchased for $144:50 or you can purchase Garden Meadow Dies, Garden Meadow Stamp Set and Meandering Meadows Designer Series Paper individually. 

I created this card using a fun fold called Z fold.

Meandering Meadows Suite

I received an order from Stampin Up yesterday. Ooooo it had such a lovely little collection of new stamps, dies and designer series paper. 

I am writing about the Meandering Meadows Suite.  This is not in the catalogue but can be found on the Stampin Up site, under Online Products.  The suite can be purchased for $144:50 or you can purchase Garden Meadow Dies, Garden Meadow Stamp Set and Meandering Meadows Designer Series Paper individually. 

The Meandering Meadows Designer Series Paper is beautiful.  Do you notice the beautiful die that creates a lovely window on the card. This set is already a new favourite.  

Mum and I made these card tonight.  You will see more as we make them over the next few days.
