Colour Creation Week 11 Blueberry Bushel

 Hi everyone,

A group of Stampin Up Demonstrators and Hobbyists are working through each colour cuurently available in the catalogues. Blueberry Bushel is this week’s colour.  It is such a beautiful colour blue.  While blue isn’t my favourite colour, I am a bit partial to it.

I made two cards after looking through Pinterest for some inspiration.

I created the first one using Dotted Circles 3 D Embossing Folder, which is still available,  and Country Flowers Stamp Set and Dies which appears to be retired.  I also used Blueberry Bushel, Azure Afternoon, Lemon Lolly and Smoky Slate.

I created this card using the same colours as above. I used Spring Corner Stamp Set.  This is a simple card that I would probably send to a teenager. I also used Blueberry Bushel, Azure Afternoon and Lemon Lolly Blends.

Have you used Stampin Up products before. One of the reasons that I became a demonstrator/hobbyist was because I love the colour combos.  Stampin Up provides cardstock, ribbon, stamp pad, and matching designer series paper and sometimes matching glitz to enhance the cards.  If you are a bit pedantic with colour combinations Stampin Up is your friend. They certainly have my vote.

The current Annual Catalogue is available on this blog.

If you live in Australia and you would like to place an order over $250-00 (before shipping) you will

receive 10% in Stampin Up Rewards.  Or if you would like to place a smaller order please email me on leanne1982@netspace.net.au.

If you would like the current brochure, please email me on leanne1982@netspace.net.au.

Colour Creations Week 42 Petal Pink

Hi everyone,

This is Week 42 and the colour is Petal Pink  Petal Pink is an soft orangey pink.  It is a really beautiful colour.

I have been asked by a friend to create some cards with christian verses.  This is my first.  I love the soft colour and the embossing over all three layers of card stock.  It is like God has embossed all layers of life togehter and put his unconditional love in the verse, surrounded with hibiscus.

I used Happy Hibiscus Stamps Set which can be found in stampinup.com.au Online Store.  Textured Note Dies was also used.  These will be released early next month.  I used  Eyelet 3D Embossing folder which can be found in the Annual Catalogue ©2024 Stampin‘ Up!® on page 129.

Colour Creation Week 38 Night of Navy

 Hi everyone,

Night of Navy is our colour this week. Stampin up change their core colours approximately every 5 years.  However  Night of Navy has been a core colour for more entire Stampin Up career.   It is one of those ‘must have’ colours.

This week I used One More Year Stamp set which can be found in the January to April  Catalogue ©2025  Stampin‘ Up!® commencing on page  59.

Do you love embossing?  Our daughter visits and makes cards from time to time.  She loves embossing,  there is always something embossed on her cards,  recently she came and made a card again,  out csme the embossing items and we both played together,

The cards below was a result of our time together.  Sometimes, you just have to play with the stamp, to reach the ideas that are floating around in your head.

Coffee With Friends

Hi everyone,

Today’s card is another card using Bloom Impressions Designer Series Paper from the current Sale-a-bration Catalogue.  When you purchase more than $100AUD, you can choose a free item.  Hey, it is always good to get something free, isn’t it.

I created this using Coffee with Friends Stamp Set which can be found in the Annual Catalogue ©2024 Stampin‘ Up!® on page 93.  I also coloured it in with Blends.

A nice cheery card.

Colour Creation week 36 Moody Mauve

Hi everyone,

Welcome to Week 36, Moody Mauve.

Moody Mauve is a muted and dusty pinkish colour.   It is a soft colour pleasing to the eye.

I started with Moody Mauve Cardstock and Dotted Circles 3D Embossing Folder.  I also used Spotlight of Nature Stamp Set and Dies.  I colour the stamp in with Moody Mauve and Olive Blends.  I added a touch of white ribbon and Rhinestone Basic Jewels.

I have learnt it is important to finish off the inside.  Today I stamped part of the flower from Spotlight on Nature.

Mixed Florals Suite

Hi everyone.

A new brochure and Online Exclusives will be released next week.  It is always exciting as we wait for the new releases.  As a Demonstrator, there is a period prior to these releases where we can purchase them and play with them before they are available to the public.

Below are 2 cards made with Mixed Florals Suite which can be found at stampinup.com.au in the Online Store.  This suite is available from 7/1/2025.

The suite has a lovely spray of flowers which can be teamed with the Mixed Media Florals, which is part of the suite.

I stamped the spray of flowers on Basic White and coloured them in using Stampin Blends.  I found that the white background was a bit stark against the rest, so I colours it in with Misty Moonlight.  It makes a big difference.  The same applies to the card below. I used Soft Sea Foam.  I hope the lucky recipient loved her special card.

Country Flowers

Hi everyone,

Country Flowers Stamp Set and Dies is such a versatile stamp set.  I seem to used it and use it and use it again.

I created this card using Country flowers Stamp Set and Dies, Blends, 2024  - 2026 In Colour Designer Series Paper and ribbon.  I also used a retired dies for the frill on the side.  You can use any border dies in your collection.

All of these things make a lovely little card.  I have ceased putting sentiments on every card. Sometimes the words do not fit.  So I write something on the inside of card.

Simply Zinnias

 Hi everyone,

Isn’t this card beautiful?  I’m not sure if you can buy Zinnias in purple but they make a beautiful card.

I used Simply Zinnias Stamp Set and Dies and the Painted Texture Embossing Folder which can be found in our Online Store.  While I intended to use Highland Heather for the flower stamping I used Gorgeous Grape, therefore the flowers stand out a bit more than I wanted.  However, I still love it.

By The Dock

Hi everyone,

When I was a child my dad made us a canoe.  I am the middle child and a girl so I don’t remember using the oars much. My older brother, who is 4 years older, handle the oars. We lived about 10 kms from the beach and would spend most weekends in the water. Many, many fond memories were created.

As we got older we outgrew the canoe and Dad made a speed boat. As we continued to grow the speed boat got bigger and better.  Dad just kept adding parts to it.  Such beautiful memories.

This card brings back those memories.  The many jetties that we walked therefore the splinters in our feet.  There is a story there but for another day. The scary jetties with more holes that boards, at least to a little 3-4 year old anyway. The memories of sitting in a boat fishing or even the smell of freshly caught fish.  Oh the memories.

This card was created using the ‘By the Dock’ stamp set.  I used Soft Suede, Balmy Blue and Whisper White Cards stock.  I used Soft Suede and Granny Apple Green Blends. I also used a retired embossing folder called Woodgrain.

I hope you enjoy this card.

All of the products used in this card can be purchased from Stampin Up. If you live in Australia and you would like to place an order over $250-00 (before shipping) you will receive 10% in Stampin Up Rewards.  Click here to place your order.
