Magical and Myth with Rooted in Nature

Hi everyone,

Today's card is a mixture of old or retired and new stamps sets.  I make and send cards to everyone at church for their birthdays.  This one was sent to an 8/9 year old boy.

I used Cherry Cobbler and Whisper white cardstock. I also used the Magical and Myth Stamp Set with Rooted in Nature Stamp Set.  I used Mossy Green, Soft Suede and Basic Black stamp pads.  The Blenders came out to colour the knight and dragon.  I also used the glimmer pen to add a bit of sparkle.

Rooted in Nature

Hi everyone,

I made this card several weeks ago at a class that I attended. Whilst I have ‘You are wonderful’ stamped on it, it could be used for a birthday card, a note or a card to boost someone's day. There are so many uses for this card.

I used Chocolate Chip, Very Vanilla and Whisper White Cardstock. I used Nature’s Poem Designer Paper Series, Rooted in Nature Stamp Set and Nature’s Root Framelits.

My First Class

Hi everyone,

I conducted my first class tonight.  The first time in anything is always hard, full of nerves, nerves and more nerves.

The above cards were the examples that I made.

Eileen has a big smile of her face.  Above are the cards that she created from the examples that I made.  Whilst they are similar Eileen used different colours and added her own personality to her cards.  I think Eileen made some beautiful cards.

Each class is $20. I will provide any cardstock, dies, stamps, stamp pads, Big Shot.  Each participant will take home three cards that has been created in class. Two people constitutes a class.  I would like to stop at four participants for each class.

The classes are quick and easy.  If you have not stamped before, this is the place to start.  If you have stamped and made cards before this is the place to learn more techniques.  Copies of the lessons’s cards will be available for ideas.

My next party is Friday night, 12/10 at 7:00 - 9:00pm.

My next party on Saturday is 13/10 at 1:30 - 3:30pm.

Please email me on leanne1982@netspace.net.au or sms me on 0419004997 if you would like to attend.  Bookings are essential.

Rooted in Nature

Hi everyone,
Several weeks ago I attended a class with my up-line.  We used Rooted in Nature Stamp Set.  The ideas and colour comb8nations are endless really.   Whilst I recieved this stamp set awhile ago, I had not actually used it.

I made the above card using Grapefruit Grove and Flirty Flamingo Cardstock and Stamp pads. I also used Old Olive and Black stamp pads.  Grapefruit Grove Natures Twine just finished it off.

When I got home I decided to have another go. Our daughter-in-law loves to pop in with her boys. I usually bring the Stampin Up items out and we sit around the kitchen table creating cards together.  So I created two more cards using Lemon Lime Twist, Grapefruit Grove cardstock and stamp pads. I also added Sahara Sand and Early Expresso stamp ink. Some linen thread completed the card.

These products can be purchased from Stampin Up. If you would like to place an order over $250-00 (before shipping) you will receive 10% in Stampin Up Rewards.  Click here to place your order.

Art With Heart Blog Hop Cajun Craze

Hi Everyone,
It is Tuesday night and week 8 of Art With Heart Colour Creations.  This week we are featuring Cajun Craze, a lovely bright orange that will brighten your day here in a cold wintery day in Melbourne.

I have this one too!!!!

Well, this one is different.   When I saw the colour, I went to the filing cabinet where I have all the cardstock.  I didn’t have any. Oh well. It took me a couple of days to realize that I had the stamp pad. So I started thinking outside the square, so to speak.  I usually start with the cardstock and work from there. Whilst I am done this technique before, it is not something I do often.  However, I am really happy with the final creation.

I commenced with Whisper White Cardstock.  I used Mossy Meadow, Cajun Craze and Crushed Curry stamp pads. I also used Root in Nature Stamp Set and Nature’s Root Framelits.  I hope you like it.  I loved creating this card.

These products can be purchased from Stampin Up. If you would like to place an order over $250-00 (before shipping) you will receive 10% in Stampin Up Rewards.  Click here to place your order.
