CASEing the Catty Sunday #CTC283

Hi everyone,

Here is another CASEing the Catty Sunday.   I really love making cards for this group.  This group makes me look outside the box.  Sometimes I’m happy with the card, sometimes not.

This week's challenge is to case the colours of the Trimming the Town DSP from the 2020 August - December Mini Catalogue.   The colours are Early Espresso, Misty Moonlight, Old Olive, Pool Party, Poppy Parade and Whisper White.

When I saw the list of these colours, I thought, how am I going to choose a card for this one.  I thought this because of the amount of colours, not so much what the colours are. I think the colours look good together.  The stamp set that I chose allows for many colours.  I quite like this card.

I created this card using the Lovely You Bundle which consists of Lovely You Stamp Set and Lovely Labels Pick A Bunch Punch and can be see in the Annual Catalogue page 169 ©2020 Stampin' Up!®

Have you used Stampin Up products before. One of the reasons that I became a demonstrator/hobbyist was because I love the colour combos.  Stampin Up provides cardstock, ribbon, stamp pad, and matching designer series paper and sometimes matching glitz to enhance the cards.  If you are a bit pedantic with colour combinations Stampin Up is your friend. They certainly have my vote.

The current Annual Catalogue is available on this blog.  If you would like a Catalogue posted to you, it will cost $9-00.  That can be deducted from the next order.

If you live in Australia and you would like to place an order over $250-00 (before shipping) you will receive 10% in Stampin Up Rewards.  Click here to place your order.

If you like this blog, and like learning a little about our family traditions or our lives while I inform you about the makings of the cards or quilts that I make, can you indicate by following me, (on the right hand side). Blogging is something new and I am still trying to get a handle on it.

Jar of Flowers

Hi everyone,

Here in Melbourne at the moment we are in lockdown with the Covid virus again. No visiting children or grandchildren. No visiting friends.  During his time I have learnt to Skype or video chat with family and friends. My 91 year old mum and I often make cards together, she is Adelaide while I am in Melbourne.  Thanks to this new technology, Skype, Video Chat and many more apps we can stay in touch face to face..

However, it still a difficult time.  I really hope that we can get a hold on this virus so that visiting family and friends can happen again soon.  I also miss having a group of ladies or our daughter, daughter-in-law and her niece, sitting around the table solving the world's problems, and generally nattering while making cards.

Here are some flowers.  I hope they brighten your day.

I created these cards using the Jar of Flowers Stamp Set which can be found in the Annual Catalogue on page 12  ©2020 Stampin' Up!®  This set also comes with a punch, which I used when I created the Just Jade and second jar. I also used the new In Colours 2020-2022 as seen below.

Below are the sheets that are included in the Flowers for Every Season Designer Series Paper

If you are interested in the card above, the below stamp set and punch is what you need. If you buy the two together there is a 10% discount

Back on Your Feet

Hi everyone,

Do you know anyone who is under the weather or not well. Here is a stamp set that can being a laugh for that someone.

All of these cards have been created using the Back To The Feet Stamp Set.  A bit of fun, I think.  I have used Forever Greenery Designer Series Paper in the first two.  The second two have 2020-2022 In Colour Designer Series Paper.  I have also the 2020-2020 In Colour Card stock, e.g. Bumble Bee, Cinnamon Cider, and Just Jade.  I have used Granny Apple Green in the second card.  Stampin Blends were used when colouring in the stamps.

I hope that when these cards are received they will create a laugh for the recipient.  One is already in the mail.  I hope you like these too.

All of these items can currently be purchased.

If you live in Australia and you would like to place an order over $250-00 (before shipping) you will receive 10% in Stampin Up Rewards.  Click here to place your order.

Peaceful Poppies DSP

Hi everyone,

In our current times of isolation sending a card reminds the recipient that they are still be remembered.  They will remember that they still are remembered by the sender each time they see the card.   Cards are a lovely reminder of love or friendship between two people.

Today's card is very easy and still very beautiful.  This beautiful Designer Series Paper is only available until the end of this month.

This items can currently be purchased.  However a new Annual Catalogue will be available early June.  So don't wait long, or these items will disappear.

I hope you like this.

If you live in Australia and you would like to place an order over $250-00 (before shipping) you will receive 10% in Stampin Up Rewards.  Click here to place your order.

Lift Me Up

Hi everyone,

Here is an older but a goody.  I find it so hard to create cards for men.  If you put men and illness or ‘under the weather’ together, a card for the task seems impossible.  Several months ago, i created a couple of card similar to these is browns.  Usually if am trying something new or a card requires a lot more thought, I usually create two.

I had such fun playing with these cards.  Everything is retired so I am sorry to say that they can not be purchased.  Sometimes it is nice to drag out old stamps sets, dies and designer series paper.   I sent one of these to my nephew who had a spell in hospital.  I hope it brightened up his day, when he received it.  I hope it reminded him that he is loved.

I hope you like this.

If you live in Australia and you would like to place an order over $250-00 (before shipping) you will receive 10% in Stampin Up Rewards.  Click here to place your order.

Life Me Up

Hi everyone

Recently one of our friends informed us that he had bowel cancer.  Whilst this might not have been terminal it was certainly a worry for his family and friends.  Our friend has since been operated on and left hospital with an excellent results.

After looking through the catalogues for ideas for a Get Well card, i came up with this idea.

I used Early Expresso and Whisper White Cardstock with Neutrals Designer series Paper. I also used Early Expresso stamp pad.  I think this card is wonderful and hopefully boost our friend when he received.

Using all these items you can create your own spectacular cards that people will love to receive.

We currently have the Sale-A-Bration Promotion.  For every $90 you can choose a free stamp set, ribbon or designer series paper. Fantastic deal.
