Happy Tails Stamp Set, Dog Builder Punch

This is another Christmas card.  This was made with someone in particular in mind.  A friend looks after our dog, Dash, while we go away.  He is getting on in years now, about 9 1/2 years old.  Recently as I collected him after our holiday, our friend's daughter offered to take Dash for a walk.  After it didn't look too hard.  Dash lays around the house next to a person to keep him and his neighbor company, like any arthritic dog might. This young woman was surprised that Dash likes to pull his way around the neighbourhood barking at other dogs as he passes them. He certainly wakes the neighbourhood up.  When he returns he returns to his usual demeanour, looking like an arthritic dog.

I created this card using Cherry Cobbler Card stock and  Wrapped in Plaid Designer Series Paper.  I used the Dog Builder Punch and  Happy Tails Stamp. I used the Story Label Punch and Gold Foil Sheet.  I really loved the result, I hope you do too.

Happy Tails

Hi everyone,

Our fourth grandchild had her first birthday party several weeks ago.  However our third grandson had his first birthday party the previous weekend.   Miss J’s birthday Had her birthday the following week. 

Here is her card that I created for her.  Miss J has a dog.  We have a dog.  It seems fitting that there were a couple of different dogs on Miss J’s card.  I commenced this card with Daffodil Delight Cardstock and some retired Designer Series Paper.   The little Dachshund came from Ready For Christmas Stamp Set and Christmas Staircase Thinlits Dies.  The second dog, looks like a Dalmatian, to me, came from Happy Tails Stamp Set and Dog Builder Punch. The balloon were made using the Balloon Bouquet and the number 1 was created using the Large Number Framelits Dies.

I hope you like this card.  Miss J and her parents liked it too.
