Mothers Day Cards

Hi everyone,

I have been very slack during recent weeks, concerning this blog. However, I have continued to make cards.   I am also starting to make quilts again which is my preferred craft.   You see, I am now retired.  I have always made cards to some degree.  I took cards on more while I worked.  I found that I needed some creative task happening and became discouraged with quilting, because it took so long to complete something. So I created cards.

I make many cards and love sending them lots of family, friends and church members.  During Covid, i sent many, ‘Thinking of You’, reminding people in Melbourne Victoria, that they were loved, and missed during our lock downs.  Many of these people would ring me or send cards in return. It is so nice receiving a card in the mail, isn’t it.

Weel, as I said, I am now retired.  So in recent weeks, I made 100 Mother’s Day cards for our grandsons’ school and another 100 Mother’s Day cards for our granddaughter’s.

Here are the piles of them on the floor.

Have you used Stampin Up products before. One of the reasons that I became a demonstrator/hobbyist was because I love the colour combos.  Stampin Up provides cardstock, ribbon, stamp pad, and matching designer series paper and sometimes matching glitz to enhance the cards.  If you are a bit pedantic with colour combinations Stampin Up is your friend. They certainly have my vote.

The current Annual Catalogue is available on this blog.

If you live in Australia and you would like to place an order over $250-00 (before shipping) you will receive 10% in Stampin Up Rewards.  Click here to place your order.

If you would like to place a smaller order please email me on leanne1982@netspace.net.au.

If you would like the current brochure, please email me on leanne1982@netspace.net.au.

If you like this blog, and like learning a little about our family traditions or our lives while I inform you about the makings of the cards or quilts that I make, can you indicate by following me, (on the right hand side). Blogging is something new and I am still trying to get a handle of this.

Blessings
