Friendly Hello

 Hi everyone,

Well, 2022 has arrived. Happy New Year to you all.  I hope your new year brings good health, lots of joy and many blessings. 

As the new year begins so does Sale-a-bration. I chose the Friendly Hello Stamp Set and Designer Series Paper, which can be found in the Sale-a-bration Catalogue page 12 ©2022 Stampin' Up!®  Below I have made the same card using different combination.  It is amazing how different they can look. 

You will need a 5 3/8” x 3 5/8” piece of cardstock.  Since I was going to use this as a template, I wanted something a little thicker, so I used Whisper White Thick Cardstock.

From the top left corner, measure down 3/4”.

From the top right corner measure down 3 3/4” and make a pencil mark

From the bottom left corner measure over 2 1/2”  and make a pencil mark.

Draw a line (connect the pencil marks) from the 3/4” mark on the left side to the 3 3/4”  mark on the right side.

Draw a line (connect the pencil marks) from the 3/4” side on the left side to the 2 1/2” mark along the bottom of the card.

Cut on the lines. 

Place flowers or sentiment in the top left hand corner. 

Have you used Stampin Up products before. One of the reasons that I became a demonstrator/hobbyist was because I love the colour combos.  Stampin Up provides cardstock, ribbon, stamp pad, and matching designer series paper and sometimes matching glitz to enhance the cards.  If you are a bit pedantic with colour combinations Stampin Up is your friend. They certainly have my vote.
