Colour Creations Week 20 Early Espresso

 Hi everyone,

A group of Stampin Up Demonstrators and Hobbyists created a group called Colours Creations.  Each week we work through the colours, alphabetically, for the year.  This week is Early Espresso.  This colour has been around for the entire time I have been part of Stampin Up.

I created these cards using Peaceful Pier Stamp Set found in the Annual Catalogue ©2025 Stampin‘ Up!® on page 96.

I bought the stamp because I love the little boy sitting on the chair fishing.  This brings back many memories of my brothers and I fishing together.  As children we grew up about 10 klms from the beach.  We were at the beach every sunny weekend.  We also spent our holidays at the beach, Port Lincoln, Kangaroo Island, once at West Beach, and another at Port Hughes.

Anyway, back to the stamp set.  I also love ‘Somebody knows……’ sentiment.

I started with the idea of water colouring the little boy etc. however I was not happy so started again.  However below is the completed water colouring attempt.

I am really happy with these last two.

I hope the recipients will have some fond memories to remember, when they receive these cards, during their time of struggle

Have you used Stampin Up products before. One of the reasons that I became a demonstrator/hobbyist was because I love the colour combos.  Stampin Up provides cardstock, ribbon, stamp pad, and matching designer series paper and sometimes matching glitz to enhance the cards.  If you are a bit pedantic with colour combinations Stampin Up is your friend. They certainly have my vote.

The current Annual Catalogue is available on this blog.
