Thoughtful Journey

 Hi everyone,

Here is another card that showcases a beautiful range of designer series paper called Thoughtful Journey.  This can be found in the Annual Catalogue ©2024 Stampin‘ Up!® commencing on page 47.  As there are a number of colours used in this designer series paper, there are many coloured card stock that will team with the designer series paper.

I don’t usually use Basic White very often as a card base.  I love colour and usually start with a colour as the base.  Anyway, this is a bit of a change.  I also used Unbounding Love Dies for the sentiment.  The dies using Lost Lagoon on the oval is going to be a new favourite, I think.

I started with a 8 1/4” x 5 1/2” card base and folded in half.  I then cut off 1 1/4” of the edge.  The top designer Series Paper is cut at 2 5/8” x 5 1/4”.  Side piece is 1 1/4” x 5 1/4”.  I cut the side piece a little wider so that it continues under the top card stock.

Have you used Stampin Up products before. One of the reasons that I became a demonstrator/hobbyist was because I love the colour combos.  Stampin Up provides cardstock, ribbon, stamp pad, and matching designer series paper and sometimes matching glitz to enhance the cards.  If you are a bit pedantic with colour combinations Stampin Up is your friend. They certainly have my vote.

The current Annual Catalogue is available on this blog.
