Patchwork Quilts

Hi everyone,

I have been busy lately. However it has not been too many cards.

Patchwork is a craft that I love.  I find that having a piece of fabric or needle and thread in my fingers seems to feed my soul.  However late in my work life, I lost my mojo.  While I have a number of quilt tops to quilt, I found that I could not face them.  Recently I started working on another quilt top.  Just sitting at the sewing machine sewing two pieces of fabric together helped me to find confidence again in the process.

These are the quilt tops that I worked on.

These two quilts were gifts to my grand nieces in Adelaide.  The first quilt is an eye spy quilt. White fabric is 2 1/2” x 6 1/2”. The coloured is 3 1/2” x 6 1/2”.  The second quilt is a Pat Sloane quilt called Oh My Stars.  I used 1930 reproduction fabrics.  I love these fabrics. I have made several quilts using these fabrics for little girls.

Blessings
