Adventurous Journey

Hi everyone,

Did you have a canoe during your childhood.  Dad built a canoe for my two brothers and I when we were kids. I can't say that I actually paddle it because I was probably too small.  We have photos of my older brother paddling the canoe with my younger brother and I in it. When I saw this stamp set, I knew that I had to have it.

Adventurous Journey Stamp Set can be found in the Annual Catalogue 2022 Catalogue page 85 ©2022 Stampin‘ Up!®.

Have you used Card  Sketches before.  I used one this time because I could not find any inspiriation in my usual sources. Card Sketches can be found on the Pintrest App.  A card sketch is a new idea which can be used with all cardstock, designer series paper, or sentiments.  Or you can create your own designer series paper. I find they are great and allows me to think outside the usual box.  Below is the card sketch that I commenced with.   However, I did not use the same measurements.

Have you used Stampin Up products before. One of the reasons that I became a demonstrator/hobbyist was because I love the colour combos.  Stampin Up provides cardstock, ribbon, stamp pad, and matching designer series paper and sometimes matching glitz to enhance the cards.  If you are a bit pedantic with colour combinations Stampin Up is your friend. They certainly have my vote.

The current Annual Catalogue is available on this blog.
