Pansy Petal DSP

Hi everyone,

The ipad has gremlins tonight.  It doesn’t matter how much I try to type change where I start typing from, it will not change.  So tonight’s post looks a little different.

These cards a really easy.  I commences with a layer of DSP, 3 5/8” x 5 3/8”.  I measured 3/4” from top left side and marked.  I measured from right bottom up 3/4” and marked.  I cut from one mark to the other, cutting off the top corner. The different DSP is the back and front of the sheets.  However, you can not just turn over the sheet and stick.  I needed to cut two layers, One with one side on top. Another with the other side on top.

For the white layer, just had 1/4” on top and side. E.g. 3 7/8” x 5 5/8”.  The card is half a Australian A4. E.g. 8 1/4” x 5 7/8”.

I used the Pansy Petal DSP which can be found in the Annual Catalogue 2021 - 2022 Catalogue page 160 ©2022 Stampin' Up!®   We have a new Annual Catalogue coming out in May 2022.  This DSP and others in the current catalogue will no longer be available.  Oh such a pity.  Pansies are one of my favourites.

As I found out, you also need to be aware of directional DSP.

Have you used Stampin Up products before. One of the reasons that I became a demonstrator/hobbyist was because I love the colour combos.  Stampin Up provides cardstock, ribbon, stamp pad, and matching designer series paper and sometimes matching glitz to enhance the cards.  If you are a bit pedantic with colour combinations Stampin Up is your friend. They certainly have my vote.

The current Annual Catalogue is available on this blog.  If you would like a Catalogue posted to you, it will cost $9-00.  That can be deducted from the next order.

If you live in Australia and you would like to place an order over $250-00 (before shipping) you will receive 10% in Stampin Up Rewards.  Click here to place your order.

If you would like to place a smaller order please email me on leanne1982@netspace.net.au.

If you would like the current brochure, please email me on leanne1982@netspace.net.au.

If you like this blog, and like learning a little about our family traditions or our lives while I inform you about the makings of the cards or quilts that I make, can you indicate by following me, (on the right hand side). Blogging is something new and I am still trying to get a handle on it.

Blessings
