Shark Frenzy

Hi everyone,

Sometimes a special card is required.  It is for your partner, child or grandchild.  My best friend’s little grandchild is turning two.  Miss A walks around her house singing ‘Baby Doo Doo Doo Doo Doo….. ‘

My daughter or daughter-in-law suggested that I buy this stamp.  Our grandchildren do not watch Baby Shark while at our place, so I didn’t know anything about this stamp.

One day recently I visited my friend and her husband.  Grandpa told of the story about Miss A singing her song.  I thought to myself I know just the card for her.  I hadn’t used this stamp before.  Anyway I created the first card using retired DSP.

During a more recent visit, I asked Grandma and Grandpa if they would also like a Baby Shark card.  ‘Ooo yes please’, was the reply.  So I started thinking and looking through Pintrest ideas.  I found this fancy fold below, something that I have not made before, something that was a bit different and something that was a bit more special.

I enjoyed making the card above so much, I thought I will make another and give Grandma and Grandpa two to choose from. Hence the card below, another idea off Pintrest. I took them over yesterday and they were both liked.  I suggested that Mum and Dad might like the other for their daughter.  So Miss A, is going to have a shelf of Baby Shark cards for her birthday.  I also, hopes, she has a really special birthday.  Happy Birthday Miss A.

Have you used Stampin Up products before. One of the reasons that I became a demonstrator/hobbyist was because I love the colour combos.  Stampin Up provides cardstock, ribbon, stamp pad, and matching designer series paper and sometimes matching glitz to enhance the cards.  If you are a bit pedantic with colour combinations Stampin Up is your friend. They certainly have my vote.

If you like this blog, and like learning a little about our family traditions or our lives while I inform you about the makings of the cards or quilts that I make, can you indicate by following me, (on the right hand side). Blogging is something new and I am still trying to get a handle on it.
