Playful Alphabet Dies

 Hi everyone,

Our lockdown in Melbourne might be lifted a little more by the time this card is posted.

Another special birthday that could not be celebrated due to our lockdown.  There have certainly been a number in the last year. Our son turned 40 last year and many of his mates also turned 40, many during lockdown.  I came across a young women at work the other day.  She was very teary the day I met her.  While she was in hospital for a reason, the reason did not create the tears.  She had accepted that news.  The tears were about having her birthday in hospital.  Last year she missed out on her 30th celebrations due to lockdown.  This year she spent her birthday in hospital, what a bummer.

This card below was made for a friend who turned 70 recently.  Black and white are her favourite colours. I hope she liked it. The Playful Alphabet Dies can be found Annual Catalogue page 72 ©2021 Stampin' Up!®

Have you used Stampin Up products before. One of the reasons that I became a demonstrator/hobbyist was because I love the colour combos.  Stampin Up provides cardstock, ribbon, stamp pad, and matching designer series paper and sometimes matching glitz to enhance the cards.  If you are a bit pedantic with colour combinations Stampin Up is your friend. They certainly have my vote.

The current Annual Catalogue is available on this blog.  If you would like a Catalogue posted to you, it will cost $9-00.  That can be deducted from the next order.

If you like this blog, and like learning a little about our family traditions or our lives while I inform you about the makings of the cards or quilts that I make, can you indicate by following me, (on the right hand side). Blogging is something new and I am still trying to get a handle on it.

Blessings
