CASEing the Catty Sunday #CTC281

Hi everyone,

There is a group on Facebook called CASEing the Catty Sunday.   Every Sunday someone from the group chooses a page or several pages from the current Stampin Up Catalogue to CASE.

CASEing means that you can copy the card.  You can make a card using the same sketch or placement and change the colours.   You can use the same sketch and change the stamps or dies.  You can use the same colours and use a different sketch.  Really the ways that can be adapted are endless and I am still getting my head around the possibilities.

This week's challenge is to case the punch bundles from Annual Catalogue page 168-169 ©2020 Stampin' Up!®

I CASEd the above card.

I liked the layout for the card.  So I chose to use the same layout And use different flowers and colours.   Many Layered Blossoms is a new dies that I have not used yet.   I was itching to use it.  I also dies cut The flowers from several sheets of Artistry Blooms Designer Series Paper found on page 148 in the Annual Catalogue.  I cut the sentiment out using the Lovely Labels Pick a Punch then I embossed ‘Happy Birthday’ using White Embossing Powder.

Comment from CASEing the Catty Sunday:

We love Leanne Mitchell's floral card!!  We love how she used die cut flowers instead of stamped       images.  We also love the gorgeous colour combination.

Congratulations, Leanne!

We would really love to see your creations so don't forget to join in with the current challenge, where we are casing our favourite bundle from the 2020 August - December Mini Catalogue.

Have you used Stampin Up products before. One of the reasons that I became a demonstrator/hobbyist was because I love the colour combos.  Stampin Up provides cardstock, ribbon, stamp pad, and matching designer series paper and sometimes matching glitz to enhance the cards.  If you are a bit pedantic with colour combinations Stampin Up is your friend. They certainly have my vote.

The current Annual Catalogue is available on this blog.  If you would like a Catalogue posted to you, it will cost $9-00.  That can be deducted from the next order.

If you live in Australia and you would like to place an order over $250-00 (before shipping) you will receive 10% in Stampin Up Rewards.  Click here to place your order.

If you would like to place a smaller order please email me on leanne1982@netspace.net.au.

If you would like the current brochure, please email me on leanne1982@netspace.net.au.

If you like this blog, and like learning a little about our family traditions or our lives while I inform you about the makings of the cards or quilts that I make, can you indicate by following me, (on the right hand side). Blogging is something new and I am still trying to get a handle on it.

Blessings
